Casio’s FIRST Automatic Watch! Edifice EFK-100D from Japan

Casio has just released its first ever automatic watch – the Edifice EFK-100D. It features a sporty design with an eye-catching forged carbon dial. But is Casio’s first step into the automatic world worth buying?

In this video, we’ll unbox the watch, explore its design, and walk through its features. I imported mine from Japan, though it may be offered worldwide in the future.

The watch comes with a stainless steel case and bracelet, a sapphire crystal, a date window, and 100m water resistance. At 39mm, the case is a comfortable size for most wrists.

Inside, Casio has teamed up with Seiko, using the reliable NH35A automatic movement. This 24-jewel caliber offers a 40-hour power reserve and can be admired through the display caseback.

For Casio collectors, the EFK-100D represents a historic first in automatic watches, and there may be more to come.
